Don't let the show boat go paddling down the river without you!  Kathryn Grayson, Ava Gardner and Howard Keel star in this musical extravaganza which celebrates the loves and heartbreaks of a Mississippi riverboat troupe.  With a memorable musical score by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II, and superb dancing by Marge and Gower Champion, it's little wonder that Show Boat remains one of the most beloved musicals of all time.

For lovely Magnolia Hawks (Grayson), the Cotton Blossom Riverboat is home  -  until dashing gambler Gaylord Ravenal (Keel) steals her heart away.  In fairytale fashion, they leave for a whirlwind honeymoon and a whirlwind lifestyle.  Until, many years later, the couple again discovers the simple pleasures of love and happiness aboard the Cotton Blossom.

The sensational soundtrack includes classic songs like "Make Believe", "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man", and "Ol' Man River".
